Tara McPherson is a fine artist and a tattooed blonde bombshell. Since graduating from Art Center College in Pasadena, CA in 2001, the now New York-based artist has exhibited her work world wide. Crowned “princess of poster art” by Elle Magazine, she has done band posters for such famous and varying artists as Elvis Costello, Faith No More, High on Fire, and Death Cab for Cutie. Her portraits–generally beautiful rendered depictions of women who are at once innocent and sinister–have been shown to much acclaim across the US and abroad. She has even ventured from the 2D to the 3D realm with sculpture and toy figures for brands like Kidrobot, Dark Hourse, and ToyR2.
